Location: Spring Grove, IL 60081

Pay Rate: $16.00/hr+ BOE

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Custodian Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to all work rules, safety guidelines, and procedures.

• Clean and maintain assigned areas by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows, and removing trash.

• Clean and restock washrooms.

• Clean company vehicles as assigned.

• Remove cardboard and debris to maintain facility organization.

• Maintain outdoor areas by shoveling, salting entrances, and picking up litter.

• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Manufacturing Services Supervisor.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support facility maintenance.

Custodian Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

• Ability to perform physical activities including standing, bending, squatting, walking up and down stairs, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.

• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping roles is preferred.

• Basic math and English communication skills (written and verbal).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Reliable, efficient, and committed to producing quality work.
