Job Position: Blanchard Grinder and Plate Polisher Metal Finishing

Location: Capron, IL 61012

Pay Rate: $21.00 to $25.00/hr BOE

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Description:

We are seeking a skilled operator to grind and finish metal plates. The successful candidate will operate a Madison Blanchard Grinder to achieve precise flatness and subsequently operate a Plate Polisher for a smooth, high-quality finish.

Blanchard Grinder and Plate Polisher Metal Finishing Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate Blanchard Grinder for plate flattening.

• Operate Plate Polisher for finishing.

• Learn to operate auxiliary equipment, including Edge Grinders and TimeSaver Sanders.

Blanchard Grinder and Plate Polisher Metal Finishing Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience with Blanchard grinding or similar surface grinders.

• Experience in metal polishing/finishing.

• Ability to read simple blueprints and work orders.

• Willingness to cross-train on other machinery.
