Location: Slinger, WI 53086

Pay Rate: Up to $27.00/hr + $3.00 shift differential BOE

Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Description:

Our family-owned and operated company is immediately hiring for a second shift welder experienced with GMAW, Flux, and Sub Arc welding in Waukesha, WI. You’ll be working Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Move material using a forklift and overhead crane

• Verify the correct quantity and quality of parts welded

• Select and install proper welding wire and gas mixture

• Operate a fuel gas hand torch for heat straightening purposes

• Perform cleaning, assembly, and straightening operations as directed by Supervision

• Set-up and fine tune welding machine for proper wire speed and machine voltage

• Ability to comply with all quality policies, specifications and instructions

Welder Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience with Flux-core 3/32 or Solid-wire 0.45 or 0.52

• 3-5 years of experience, preferred

• Read and comprehend welding symbols

• Read and comprehend welding blueprints

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Heavy Manufacturing in a Job Shop

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required
